I originally bought this as a part of a white elephant gift so I didn't care how long it lasted, which I assumed would not be long. But I kept it for myself and have used it for six months going strong (haven’t even had to change batteries). Stays in place, surprisingly stays fairly clean, and is plenty bright. Just note that it seems to stay in place best on the sides of the bowl, so make sure a motion sensor in that location makes sense in your bathroom.
This is such a cool addition for the kids bathroom. We have it set to fade all the colors and it has great range! Picks up movement from the hallway and lights up for a while. Amazing for nighttime toilet trips! Could fit any toilet and pretty good quality.
This thing is gold; blue, red, yellow and orange too! It has a motion sensor so it illuminates as soon as you walk into the bathroom. No need to turn on the light during those night pees. It does not fall off, or get in the way whatsoever. Easy to remove when cleaning the bowl and the battery lasts for ever!
Got one of these as a gift and at first I only used it because I didn't want to hurt the giver's feelings. Wound up actually being pretty practical. This one is a replacement for the original as the first one finally died after being knocked into the toilet bowl one too many times over the course of 12 months. I didn't realize that had happened until it stopped working and I opened it to replace the batteries and saw how rusty it was. Apparently the cleaning crew wasn't removing it when cleaning. Now on cleaning day, I take it off the bowl and put it back that night. Pretty impressive it'll survive at all being dunked, let alone for as long as it did and who knows how many times it got dunked? The lights are really pretty and cycle the colors while it's on. The light(s) is bright enough you don't need to have a separate night light for the bathroom, which I appreciate. It's silly and fun, but amazingly practical.
I really like this product! It works well and actually turns off like it is supposed too when its bright out/day time. It is vibrant colored and the flex rod to attach to the toilet makes it really compatible. Very satisfied.
